Social Slam, Tennessee’s largest social media conference, is scheduled for Friday, April 27, 2012.  Last year, 430 attendees from 17 states packed the Knoxville Convention Center for the inaugural Social Slam. Organizers expect this year’s event to sell out with over 600 in attendance.

The full day conference will include presentations by nationally recognized keynote speakers. Local internet marketer, Flight Director at Moss Media Labs and Founder ofSocial Media Club Chattanooga Jon Moss is scheduled to speak. His talk will focus on the importance of LinkedIn as a social networking platform.

“LinkedIn, the oldest of all the major social media sites, is just as relevant as ever. It is so much more than the place to look for a job. LinkedIn is a dynamic representation of your professional life. Anyone who has a business card needs to have a presence there,” says Moss.

This sell-out event garnered national attention, brought in nationally acclaimed speakers, and put Tennessee on the social media map.
