We had such a good time at Social Slam this year. The connections made, both new and old, are priceless. What happens in the halls and the pre/post events is just as important as the information imparted by the speakers and panel discussions. One of our own, Jon Moss, was included as a presenter during the Social Slam – 50 Big Ideas in 50 Minutes. His task was to give 10 ideas on how LinkedIn is worthy of your time. It’s not the sexiest of the platforms, but rather more of a workhorse. Jon’s self-deprecating humor was well received by the socially savvy audience and seemed to resonate both during and after the presentation as evidenced by the Twitter chatter.

We’re thankful to Mark Schaefer, Social Media Club Knoxville and all the volunteers who made the event run smoothly. We’ll be back for sure next year!

Below is my slide presentation with a little background music – enjoy!
